The Cosmic Prayer

The Cosmic Prayer appeared in Heinz Grill's body of work some 30 years ago,and still remains hugely popular today. Unlike the more strenuous yoga exercises, which bring with them obvious physical benefits, the Cosmic Prayer emphasises chiefly that artistic element which is so characteristic of Heinz Grill's approach to yoga. In this simple sequence of words and movements, the arms flow rhythmically and harmoniously from one gesture to the next. The exercise brings us back to a feeling of connection with the wise laws of nature and the universe, and kindles more sensitive, artistic perceptions within us. This booklet contains an introduction to the whole cycle, followed by an explanation and colour photo for each individual movement.
